Process validation microbiologist - united states, raleigh
adecco is working with a pharmaceutical engineering client that is looking to fill a process validation microbiologist role. this job is full time/direct hire with the client and requires travel to client sites and will be reporting onsite in raleigh, nc. this job is responsible for developing and executing cycle development, qualification and requalification testing using decontamination products.
this role requires travel of up to 50% - 70% during weekdays and will include some weekend travel.
the responsibilities for the process validation microbiologist role include:
execute cycle development and microbiological qualification projects for equipment
provide technical support for all north american customers (or prospective customers)
perform demonstrations as sales support for customers visiting the site and while visiting customer sites
understand the company's technical services, applications in lab/qc microbiology, environmental monitoring, documentation and quality systems
the requirements for the process validation microbiologist role include:
bs/ba degree in biology or related science or engineering or similar degree/experience required
previous laboratory, pharmaceutical microbiology, sterilization process qualification, and/or quality control related documentation background is strongly preferred
knowledge and technical expertise related to h2o2 decontamination, qc microbiology lab operations, cgmp standards, osha requirements, fda and eu guidance related to aseptic production, usp and ep standards related to biological indicators and sterility testing are all very desireable
