Logistics coordinator - united states, londonderry

adecco staffing is working with a client in londonderry, nh who is looking for an inbound logistics coordinator to join their team! 

 pay: $23.08/hour 

schedule: 7:30am -4:30pm monday throgh friday

position summary:

the import logistics coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting data entry, analyses, communications, and coordination of all inbound intermodal container (imc) shipments from key international suppliers to bosch thermotechnology north america (ttna) distribution points and direct receiving customers.

job duties & responsibilities:

  • routinely maintains and distributes a report tracking all container direct pos and shipments through the fulfillment process
  • supports coordination of inbound transportation between nvoccs, imc trucking companies, container companies, bosch tt warehouses, and key customer locations
  • ensures timely and accurate data entry of inbound container shipments into virtual dock warehouse and create the system transfer to the destination warehouse
  • performs data management of estimated arrival dates for inbound materials and other relative data for inbound shipments in the erp system
  • manages inbound transportation schedules, communicating with all appropriate parties to ensure alignment
  • exports documents from sap (packing list, commercial invoice, delivery note, etc.) and distributes to appropriate parties
  • routinely produces and distributes material availability report
  • supports creation and submission of customs documentation packages to the customs broker for all inbound shipments from international suppliers
  • supports end-to-end resolution regarding inbound documentation discrepancies, to include providing corrections for customs documentation
  • maintains inbound container documentation in shared area to ensure customs compliance
  • routinely produces late po report and requests updated ship dates from suppliers
  • responsible for records keeping of receiving, import and export documents as required by law
  • performs ad hoc reporting and analyses
  • utilizes sap to export data, review information, and perform maintenance tasks
  • qualifications:

  • high school diploma (or equivalent – associate degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of relatable experience
  • very detail oriented and reliable work style
  • highly organized
  • attention to deadlines
  • intermediate ms excel skills (able to create pivot tables, perform vlookups, etc.)
  • strong communication skills and ability to work as a team member (internal and external)
  • preferred skills:

  • proficient with sap
  • work environment:

  • general office environment / telecommute as appropriate
  • casual business dress
  • daily computer use
