adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a forklift driver for a 2nd  shift in the riverside area. this is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right candidate. please review the details below and if you meet the qualifications listed, please apply now!

responsibilities for this forklift driver position include, but are not limited to:

load finished product onto trailers; using the oldest product first based on date stamps

unload raw materials from trailers

reconcile shipments; loaded/unloaded weight minus tare weights

inspect incoming raw product

monitor temperature of each incoming load using temperature probes

clean the dock area by sweeping and mopping as necessary

clean and sanitize selected trailers

calibrate the floor scale

calibrate the temperatures probes

maintain the forklift battery; recharge; report all damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor

inspect outgoing trailers for proper temperature prior to departure

operate spotting tractor to move selected trailers around the yard

notify quality assurance of new raw product arrival

perform inventory count of freezer and cooler

receive and distribute ups shipments

keep work area clean

perform related duties as assigned

 

to be considered for this forklift driver position, you should:

good communication skills and must be able to work from verbal and/or written instructions

1 years of prior forklift experience

ability to lift up to 60 pounds including standing, sitting, and walking

must be able to work overtime

1st shift working from 1:30pm to 9:30pm, monday-saturday
