1st shift: 5:45am to 4:00pm - $18.00 - $21.00/hr
overtime is required when scheduled.

job summary
the inventory clerk plays a key role in delivering business results and driving operational improvements. oversee daily production needs as far as materials in order to achieve productivity, efficiency, customer service, and quality objectives through both individual and team contributions. promotes safe work practices, develops, and maintains an effective organization with qualified personnel.
collaborates with production line leads and supervisors to deliver production targets.
reconciling receiving/put away variances, reporting overage/shortage and inventory issues
coordination and ordering from outside warehouses
maintains timely loading, unloading, and scheduling of product or ingredients to meet plant and corporate objectives.
establishes and maintains warehousing rotation and hold programs.
perform yearly and periodical audits of inventory for accuracy and obsolete product.
ensures proper fifo/feforotation and manufacturability needs (i.e., tempering, etc.)
coordinates the expedited materials with shipping and receiving.
coordinates wip, including mixed cases, veggies, meats and sauces both to and from the line.
coordinates material flow processes that allow for the delivery of the right material to the right place at the right time.
maintains staging locations for each material, by line, for both inbound and put away.
executes expectations and measures results for staging materials at the line that aligns to achieving < .5% downtime (attributed to material handling.)
executes put-away procedures for left over raw/pack material from production runs, aligning with fifo/fefo rotation practices.
executes procedures for the proper configuration, palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and loading of all finished goods to allow for proper transfer to distribution center(s).
executes the plant safety program by being a champion for safety and treating it as a priority.
qualifications
minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, material handling or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
forklift experience is required.
in depth knowledge of material handling processes, sop’s and related tools including erp (just foods).
must be able to work independently.
must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 75 lbs. occasionally.
must be able to pass forklift exam and be able to properly operate a forklift and related equipment.
must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
must be able to trouble shoot, analyze, and problem solve in a short period of time.
must be able to communicate in a clear and consistent manner.
the ability to make decisions based on limited information.
teamwork orientation – ability to teach and train, with a high energy level and diligent work ethic.
must exhibit ethical conduct.
ability to provide clear direction and instruction in a matrix environment.
must be detail-oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
