Receiver - united states, mason city

adecco is assisting a fortune 500 consumer product corporation in their search for a receiver in their r&d operations in mason, ohio.  the receiver will be part of a large team dedicated to running operations for beauty care products.  receiving raw materials is a critical function in maintaining efficient processes and ensuring quality and purchasing accuracy.

 

as a receiver the responsibilities are:

visually inspects materials and paperwork including certificate of analysis and safety data sheets (sds).

initiate set-up of new materials in inventory system.

check weights of each material to verify amounts ordered matches what is delivered.

utilize systems to lookup information to complete receiving activities.

complete receipt of materials and applies appropriate certification definition.

quarantines any material with discrepancies/defects, notates in the system, and communicates to the buying team.

applies system barcodes and placards according to safe practices and sds.

may cross train on sampling function to ensure test raw materials following gmp practices.

 

qualifications:

must be competent in computer systems and the ability to work within several at one time.

strong knowledge of microsoft office applications.

must have 1-2 years of warehouse experience.

must be able to use motorized pallet jack, lift equipment and forklifts.

must be physically able easily move around dock.

must wear steel toes.
