Accounting process improvement analyst - united states, virginia
adecco is hiring immediately for an accounting process improvement analyst to join the finance team of our client located in newport news, va. the analyst will perform essential duties with pay starting at $31.00/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will foster conversations between finance, it, and operations to look for ways to fully optimize the client’s system automations, improve current tasks using a lean eye, and solve other obstacles to allow the accounting team to operate effectively and efficiently.
requirements:
high school diploma or ged required; bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting preferred
analyze complex business problems through data analytics, provide recommendations, and gain buy-in from stakeholders
express strong business acumen, customer service skills, and attention to detail
possess strong organizational skills, help develop a tool for managing team projects
must be open to a lot of communication, be a self-learner, and be self-motivated
understand key accounting aspects including month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and requirements for internal and external financial controls
experience with html coding (microsoft sharepoint designer)
advanced microsoft office experience (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint) with strong preference on candidates who have experience writing advanced macros (vba)
experience with oracle cloud erp preferred
