Hr generalist - united states, whitehouse

adecco is seeking a highly organized hr generalist for our client located in lebanon, nj.  the human resources generalist works closely with the leadership team helping to execute the company’s talent management initiatives.  you’ll work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.  our client offers low-cost health benefits, 401k, competitive salary, and a stable place to continue your career growth!

you will have the opportunity to constantly train and grow to stay abreast of changes in the many hr laws and trends. the hr generalist will source, screen and interview applicants as well as onboard all new hires. you will be responsible for all compliance and benefits. you will work closely with our staff with regards to training, benefit coverage, performance reviews and policies. a keen understanding of a compliant digital workflow is important.

requirements:

  • ability to work both remotely and in the office as needed (in the office daily for the first few months tapering off to usually no more than 2-3 days per week)
  • 4-year degree in hr, sociology, or related field
  • love organization, “owning” projects, coordinating, and getting things accomplished
  • enjoy solving problems – you know how to think for yourself
  • can manage multiple projects and deadlines at once… you prioritize and manage your day with ease
  • must be a “people person” who communicates well
  • possess excellent administrative skills
  • have solid computer skills in microsoft word and excel
  • experience in hris systems a must (paylocity, ats ondemand, employee navigator is preferred)
  • hr certification a plus
