Office co-ordinator - united kingdom, sudbury, suffolk

we are small engineering consultancy who has a vacancy for an experienced administrator to support our office manager with all aspects of running a busy office.

the successful candidate must be able to work under their own initiative and have excellent communication, organisation, interpersonal and computer skills.

the focus of this role will be organising key company functions, and either liaising with team or self completing tasks to ensure compliance. this role encompasses elements of health & safety, security, purchasing, regulatory standards and it, which includes it administration, performing system updates and upgrades and 1st line it support. this is very much a hands on role, and you will also be responsible for all reception duties, general filing and supporting the office manager with hr, finance and quality management.

salary will be dependent on experience, skills and qualifications.

the role is full time (mon-fri 09:00-17:00) although consideration may be given to reduced working hours for the right candidate. due to our office location, own transport is essential.

this position is subject to security clearance vetting.
