adecco is assisting one of our top client in a search for mechanical engineer for very well established material handling company in somerset county, nj. the ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and structural engineering skills and experience in material handling industry is highly desired.

 

position: mechanical engineer

location: somerset county, nj

this is a full time direct hire position

 

 

responsibilities

 

perform calculations for the stresses developed in the structural and mechanical components of material handling systems.

generate 2d & 3d design drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and bill of material for material handling equipment using solidworks, autocad, or autocad inventor.

work with other project team members in the engineering stages of various material handling projects.

 

qualifications

 

minimum of 5 years’ experience or more in design engineering and detailing.

proficient in ms office suite.

proficient in autocad, autocad inventor, or solidworks for 2d & 3d design and detailing.

bachelor degree in structural, mechanical, or civil engineering.

experience in manufacturing and structural steel fabrication is highly desired
