an opportunity has arisen for a talented chef to join the brigade at this well-known and popular gastro pub. award winning food produced from fresh local and seasonal produce in a high-volume kitchen delivering a consistent quality product. the position would suit a hard working no nonsense commis looking for a challenge and wishing to work in a dynamic and established team cooking modern british classics. previous experience working at a senior commis level is essential for this placement and the successful candidate will be capable of confidently controlling a busy section in the kitchen from day one. ideally they will have a positive “can do” attitude with a willingness to support the senior chefs where necessary and grow their own knowledge.
the successful candidate will be able to cook at the highest level and able to hold down any given section. hold a minimum of nvq level 2 food safety certificate level 2 and demonstrate a stable career progression.
