about the role

this company is an award-winning digital marketing agency. they've had great success since their journey began nearly 9 years ago. it started with the simple intention of helping businesses on a much smaller scale and has grown to 60+ staff with multiple awards for their work. they have an inclusive company culture and staff wellness is key.

they recently went through a brand refresh exercise that included a lot of discovery for them as an agency and this will form their tone. the services that they offer are strategic and they lead with intelligence, knowledge and a great work ethic. they're looking for someone to mimic this in their output and manage their online presence.

working closely and reporting to the md, they want someone to build, develop and implement strategic marketing plans for them as a digital marketing agency. efforts will include promoting their core services in ppc, social, seo and amazon, their external tech adoption and in-house tools. this will also cover a recently opened office in glasgow where they have continued their pre-covid plans of having a more localised service offering (covid set this back just a touch).

a lot of the day to day tasks will require competency in content writing, design, use of platforms such as wordpress, hubspot crm etc. although they do have content writers, designers, devs and resources from the services that they offer should the project require support.

necessary skills and experience include;

- marketing degree or equivalent relevant qualification

- 3+ years dedicated marketing experience

- self-motivator, be proactive

- fresh, innovative ideas

- quality first attitude

- good understanding of what they do/willingness to learn

- reporting experience

- agency experience preferred

they are a laid back agency and they're protective of the inclusive culture they've worked hard for but as with all staff members they fully expect you to 'own it' with regard to your role. if you need micromanaging, chasing, reminding of deadlines and are not a self-starter then this is not the agency for you.
