Project engineer - united states, princeton, nj

adecco is assisting one of our top client in a search for a project engineer for very well established material handling company in somerset county, nj the ideal candidate will possess strong project engineering and project management skills.

this is a full time direct hire position

position: project engineer

location: somerset county, nj

project engineer will handle several time sensitive projects that consist of designed equipment that includes engineering, manufacturing and installation for material handling industry.

responsibilities

coordination with engineering department to have project go through design phase for submittal drawings to all the way to producing fabrication and installation.

manage purchasing of materials from the b.o.m in order to make sure project is successful and on time.

communication with customers on submittal and approval of drawings, details for engineering, scheduling of delivery of equipment and installation of equipment.

coordination with production team on manufacturing of equipment.

communication and coordination with accounting department for job close out and invoicing.

qualifications

bachelors of science in mechanical, structural or electrical engineering.

a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

intermediate knowledge with microsoft excel, word and outlook.

knowledge in product pricing, cost accounting, and general sales.

strong mechanical and structural skills.

previous project engineering or project management a plus.
