job description:
test technician ii prepares for static, dynamic, cycle and abuse tests. sets up, and conducts complete engineering tests as required by the test plan, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions as directed by the test engineer. completes and reviews test data sheets.
collect and prepare data used to support engineering reports and analysis.
assemble, operate, and maintain laboratory testing, measuring, and mechanical equipment with minimal supervision.
adjust and repair testing, electrical, and mechanical equipment and devices with minimal supervision.
inspect test equipment for wear and defective parts, using standard inspection practices.
qualifications:
must have advanced knowledge and background using laboratory test and measurement instruments.
must be self-motivated and able to perform at a high level of intensity with minimal direction.
must have advanced knowledge of all areas of the test lab (static, dynamic, abuse and cycle).
must be able to adjust to company priorities and changes.
experience:
high school diploma/ged
2 years experience in testing environment
proficient in shop math including trigonometry
microsoft office
