an established independent company providing grounds maintenance services to clients in both the private & public sector across norfolk seeks an experienced grounds maintenance team leader to join our busy team.

this role is for a team leader to direct as small team in achieving the below tasks in a safe an efficient manner, in accordance with given schedules and company health and safety policies and procedures:

tasks

operate machinery including ride-on and pedestrian mowers, chainsaws, strimmers, wood cutting machine
grass cutting
strimming
hedge cutting, pruning
tree surgery
grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks, including fencing, turfing, digging, planting, seeding and conservation
preparing goods for delivery, including firewood and smokeless fuel
cleaning and maintaining equipment

role specifics

* full-time, permanent role based near swaffham, norfolk

* salary is commensurate with experience & qualifications

* hours are 07:30am - 5:00pm monday-friday (some saturdays paid at bonus rates)

* start date: asap

* experience in grounds maintenance & horticultural practices is essential (3 years preferred but less will be considered), experience to include: operating machinery, grass cutting, hedge trimming, spraying, strimming

qualificiations

* current pa1 & pa6 certificate

* current cscs card/rolo qualification

* full, current, clean driving licence

* dbs checks will be made
