Landscaper - united kingdom, ely, cambridgeshire
we are looking for two landscapers to join our small, but growing team.
duties will include (but not be limited to): moving materials around site. digging. mixing mortar/concrete. operating small machinery. collecting materials. keeping our yard tidy. some installation work.
you must be able to drive and have transport to get you to sites around the ely, cambridge, huntingdon areas. our yard is in littleport, and we occasionally meet there early, so will ideally live near by. please do not apply if you do not have a full driving license!
the work is physically demanding, so you will need to be fit and strong. our normal working day runs from 7.30am to 4pm, but each day is different, so you will need to have some flexibility. punctuality and reliability is essential. you will need to be presentable, work uniform will be provided.
we are accepting applicants that are either self employed, or looking for 'on the books' full employment.
experience is not essential, but is preferable. rates of pay will depend on experience and skill level.
successful applicants will be asked to work a (paid) trial day instead of an interview. a (paid) trial period of 2 weeks will then follow before a permanent job offer is made.
we are a close knit, friendly team, and we believe in having fun onsite, but working hard to get jobs done on time. we pride ourselves on the quality of our builds, so initiative and attention to detail will be rewarded.
this role has the potential to grow and further develop as the business progresses. training can and will be offered.
