Bar and front of house shift supervisor - united kingdom, highgate, london

we are looking to immediately supplement our small, friendly bar/front of house (and kitchen team) with one or two friendly, confident and experienced people to help run the bar and supervise service. (we also are interviewing for a kp and part-time bar and kitchen staff). ideally you already live within a reasonable distance of highgate/archway - n19.

experience is essential ( bar/waiting/cellar/cocktails/wine/team player and leader/able to work on own initiative) you must also be able to show you have the right to live and work in the uk. successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills, work diligently, flexibly, be organised and be willing and able to work at pace and under ocassional pressures, especially on sunny days and weekends. we are ideally looking for people willing and able to quickly step up into a more senior leadership role. you are hands on, head up, love conversation and have a passion for good old-fashioned hospitality and excellent customer service. brendan the navigator is a fully independent, privately owned freehouse and community gastropub on highgate hill. we opened in 2021 in a lovely, listed, victorian landmark. we focus on good guinness and premium beers, live, acoustic, irish traditional music and good, traditional, anglo-irish food and classic wines. we are not a big sport pub and we avoid tvs except on rare occasions! friendly conversation is at our core. :)
