your role within our team:
manage a timely month-end process to produce quality financial information and analysis for leadership and the boardresponsible for the preparation and review of monthly management accounts, including full balance sheet reconciliationsresponsible for kpi and financial reportingprepare data-driven analysis to support business decisionscontribute to new initiatives and commercial projectsimplement and maintain monthly forecastingsupport the annual budgeting processactively improve and find efficiencies in existing processespreparation of quarterly vat returns and other statutory returnswhere required, support our assistant management accountant with expenses, invoicing, supplier payments, cash reconciliations and other responsibilitiessupport with annual audit requests
the candidate:
you are a part qualified or fully qualified accountant (aca, acca or cima)you are innovative, keen to improve the finance function and get stuck into the task at handyou have advanced excel skillsyou have excellent numerical and analytical skillsyou are independent, a self-starter and able to manage your own workloadyou can communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, you are not afraid to challenge and influence themyou are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and prioritiesit’s an advantage (though not essential) to have hospitality or multi-site experience
