we are looking for a talented and enthusiastic baker or all-round cook to join our bakery team at our central production kitchen. under the guidance of our retail development chef and head baker, this role requires the candidate to assist with the delivery of our bakery range as well as producing savoury items to support our retail outlets across edinburgh and dundee.
with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal and made-from-scratch cooking, our in-house bakery is responsible for providing all of our cafes with cakes, traybakes and biscuits, as well as producing speciality afternoon tea products and savoury items such as quiches, sausage rolls and deli filled sandwiches.
the ideal candidate for this role will be organised and adaptable, with the ability to support where required assisting all aspects within the bakery. this is a weekday position offering daytime hours only.
the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

- good kitchen practice
- be flexible in order to meet company demands
- previous experience within a kitchen environment
- excellent levels of kitchen hygiene
- ability to prioritise and multi-task
- good understanding of english, both written and orally
