Coffee shop chef - united kingdom, dunblane, stirling
we are looking for an experienced full time chef/cook to work in, and manage our kitchen preparing hot and cold food for breakfast and lunchtime service.
responsibilities:
preparation and cooking of all food items on the menu
opportunity to shape future menu design and development
responsibility for stock management, rotation, ordering and replenishment
maintain a high level of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including refrigerators and freezers, preparation surfaces and cooking facilities
regularly inspect supplies, equipment and work areas and work areas to ensure conformance to relevant hygiene and health and safety standards
who we are looking for:
2-3 years kitchen experience preferred
awareness of hygiene and good housekeeping practices, possessing an existing hygiene certificate
pro-active and organised with attention to detail
must be able to manage themselves and deliver at peak periods whilst maintaining food quality and consistency
a team player with a passion for food
can-do, positive attitude who can work alongside the existing team
