Live-in management couple - united kingdom, hastings, east sussex
our clients, a professional couple primarily based in east sussex, are seeking a thoughtful, warm natured and dedicated live-in management couple, who enjoy the country life, to work at their stunning residence.
the couple will consist of a house manager and a housekeeper. one of the couple will be a chef.
duties include:
daily cooking of lunch and supper
menu planning, shopping, running errands
cooking of healthy, plant based and seasonal meals, mostly just for the two principals but occasionally for larger dinner parties
managing the day-to-day running of the residence
creating cleaning lists
making shopping lists for kitchen and other supplies
all aspects of housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, organising
changing bed linen
laundry and ironing
wardrobe management
maintaining the stocks of household supplies
driving
minor maintenance
providing security
occasional dog sitting
the role requires flexibility and an all-round knowledge of managing private households.
excellent cooking skills and a like for dogs are essential.
there are two dogs (cavalier king charles spaniels) within the residence so you must be comfortable around pets.
accommodation: a beautiful, private, newly renovated cottage on the estate with own private garden. utilities included.
pets and dependants will be considered.
working hours: 40 hours per week, 10am - 6pm. flexibility is required
salary: £80,000+
