this employer is a privately owned business that started trading in 1994. initially the core business was the purchase, treatment, and distribution of a range of technical fabrics for use in a variety of high-tech manufacturing processes. in 2006 the company further expanded into manufacturing enabling them to expand their portfolio of products and increase their customer base.
they form part of a larger holding group, a family of four companies owned and managed by a father and son team. overall, they currently employ approximately 440 people.
due to continued growth, they are seeking a customer service advisor to join their team.
this is a full time role, monday - friday, 8.45am - 5:15pm with 30min lunch - 40 hours per week.
mission:
- to be a first class initial point of contact for all external callers and visitors to site
- to be professional, effective and reliable source of telephone and administrative support to your customer accounts
- to develop successful relationships with your allocated customer accounts and apply your expert knowledge of their requirements to exceed service expectations
key responsibilities:
- maintain customer opportunity pipeline
- deal with complaints from your customer in line with procedure, ensuring a speedy and satisfactory response
- provide weekly updated outstanding order lists to your accounts with regards to despatch dates
- provide bimonthly information to your accounts relating to value and quantity of stock holding send samples to customers
- process your customer orders on the sage system ensuring the sales order processing procedure
- ensure selling prices in the sage system are accurate and up to date and deal with price increases effectively
- provide the account manager with customer reports when requested
- daily admin tasks, photo copying, franking post, filing
