Bakery evening porter / packer required - united kingdom, portslade, east sussex

the flour pot bakery is based in portslade and we require a full-time bakery porter working through the evening (4pm – midnight)

this is a full-time position and the role is 5 shifts per week, and is hourly paid

your duties will involve

slicing bread

packing bread orders in accordance to delivery notes

cleaning/prepping tins and trays

hang/take down couches.

organise racks and trays

clean down after shift

we are looking for someone that fits these criteria:

hard working
reliable
physically able to carry out the duties as some lifting will be required
have a great attitude towards other team members and the role
excellent command of written and spoken english as a large part of the role will rely on this.

this is a great opportunity to work in a busy artisan kitchen and bakery, and we would expect you to have bags of enthusiasm and energy. availability to work at weekends is expected. you must have your own transport or be able to get here easily by public transport. the potential to learn other skills for the right applicant could well be available to the right candidates
