Housekeeper - 25 hours per week - united kingdom, gerrards cross, buckinghamshire
a fabulous part time housekeeping role has become available for an experienced housekeeper to look after the home of a friendly family of four (children aged five and six). the family live in a modern three storey five bedroom house in gerrards cross, buckinghamshire. they are looking for a friendly and proactive person who will become part of their family and who will help to keep their busy home running like clockwork.
you will be required to work for 25 hours per week. the hours are fairly flexible, but the ideal would be something like 1pm – 6pm or 8am- 1pm daily. the hours could also be split over three long days.
in order to run the house smoothly, the duties will be:
tidying and organising the home
cleaning all rooms to a high standard (including bathrooms)
family laundry – including bedding and clothes
ironing
bed changing
grocery shopping
putting away grocery shopping
food prep and occasional cooking
running household errands (post office, dry cleaning etc)
a careful and confident driver is essential for helping with household errands. there can be a duty car if needed.
although this is a housekeeping role, a love of children and playing the occasional game would be a wonderful addition.
the family is looking for someone who would like to muck in and become part of the family. the candidate will be a warm, friendly and honest person who is pleasant to have around.
