our client are now looking for a skilled cabinet maker to join a supportive team who will help build up these skills and experiences.

who are you?

completed a qualification in a related field (nvq, btech, diploma, t level, city & guilds etc).
have 3+years’ experience in a similar role
have the ability to visualise and understand technical drawings.
capable and confident using machinery, equipment and tools safely.
pro-active with a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn.
willing to take on responsibilities as the role grows.
have the ability to work to deadlines.

your daily responsibilities will include:

assembling cabinet/wooden carcasses
follow production drawings from start to finish
fitting hardware, sanding & preparing for spraying
set up and use a variety of woodworking machines including spindle moulders and hand tools
provide general assistance and support where required in the manufacturing process
consistently carry out quality checks at every stage of manufacture and correct any problems
work on a wide range of items such as cabinets, tables, kitchens, bedrooms, boardroom furniture, reception desks, bars, panelled rooms, audio-visual units, studies etc
join installation teams on site when required
ensure company health & safety policies are adhered to
responsible for the upkeep and wearing of ppe
assist in keeping your work space clean & tidy
flexible approach to working hours to ensure deadline are met
available to occasionally work overtime (overtime rates paid)
