duties

your duties as the internal recruitment consultant / in-house recruiter / talent acquisition specialist include:

source and select candidates within the plant hire industry

network and advertise for potential candidates to operate plant machine

identify skills to match appropriately with machine hires

negotiate pay rates with new operators

deal with general queries relating to contracts, pay, logistics etc

you'll be liaising with a whole range of plant operators, getting as much information as possible to match the correct operator to the correct machine, checking references on operators

you will be recruiting within the construction / plant hire industry, where you will specialise in recruiting for machine and plant operators

candidate requirements

you must have recent recruiting experience or have experience working on a hire desk within the plant hire / trades and labour sector to apply for this position.

you must have good experience resourcing candidates and negotiating rates of pay

must be organised with excellent time-management skills

work with a sense of urgency
