we are now looking for a warehouse cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our worthing warehouse.

about the role:

primary duties:

to sweep the warehouse floors.
to remove pallets and sweep behind the racking.
to sweep and clean out loading bays.
to pick up all pallet wrap and disused cardboard and place in recycling bins.
to respond to accidental spillages.
to be aware of and comply with all requirements of the health and safety policy and procedure including wearing personal protective equipment (ppe).
to be aware of and comply with all fire safety procedures, including maintaining clear fire exits and escape routes.
to be aware of and comply at all times with relevant legislation involved in food safety and food hygiene.
to maintain a professional and polite attitude at all times.
in addition to your main duties, you may be required to carry out other duties consistent with your status and abilities as the company may from time to time require.

who are we looking for?

you will need:

experience working in a similar role, particularly within a warehouse.
awareness of food hygiene.
attention to detail and the ability to work in a team and individually.
to be able to respond to spillages in a timely manner, being adaptable in prioritising the workload.

working hours:

full time - 40 hours 08:00 16:45 monday-friday.
