adecco is hiring immediately for an operations coordinator with a local client in newport news, va. operations coordinators perform essential duties with pay starting at $15.00/hour, plus available overtime. in this role, you will provide a high level of service and support to the s&op organization through the following responsibilities.
what you will be doing:
process assigned daily auto-process replenishment exception reports and decide best course of action to provide the best service levels to the branches
place dc to dc replen transfer purchase orders daily through the trilogie replen system
process other dc transfers of inventory in order to balance inventory investment and provide improved service levels
review and work flip reports
work daily pricing reports (wac, zero cost, receivings with no cost)
processing po acknowledgements for dc po’s daily
provide timely and accurate reporting through various processes to buyers and management
vendor shipping discrepancy forms – liaison between dc and vendor on all shipping errors
mill test reports (mtr) – load mtrs into mtr software, answer requests from branches/dc’s needing to obtain mtrs that are not loaded in software
inbound scheduling – schedule inbound appointments for carriers into the dc’s using highjump and email alias
communicate problems as they occur to management
requirements:
high school diploma or ged
1-2 years of relevant work experience
above average understanding of microsoft office; ms access experience a plus
good understanding of trilogie (i.e.: tcl, bcm, poe, abod)
ability to research on the web
good oral and written communication skills, math skills, and ability to work independently
ability to form good relationships and practice excellent customer service
excellent attention to detail
positive attitude and teamwork skills
