will serve as backup to the agency’s front desk to fill in as needed when there is a staffing shortage.
prepares and maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to hr director.
maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
provides administrative/clerical support to the hr director.
performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
responsible for new employee onboarding and orientation, including pre-employment drug testing & background checks.
resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of hr.
