**job summary**

at our world class facility in elphinstone, tranent (close to edinburgh),our toxicology administration & reporting department currently has an exciting career opportunity for an assistant sample coordinator.

due to our continued growth and success, we can offer rewarding opportunities in a research environment. working as an assistant sample coordinator, you'll join a team which provides support to study management in the co-ordination and reporting of their studies.

key responsibilities:

* preparing chain of custody in order to collect and transfer samples

* labelling, packaging and shipping samples with appropriate documentation required according to import/export regulations

* ordering packaging materials including boxes and dry ice

* maintaining calendar of tasks according to protocol requirements

applicants should have:

* english and mathematics standard grades

* proven experience of working within given timescales with a proactive working style

* strong organizational skills with an eye for detail

* experience in microsoft word

* good written communication and people skills

the salary is gbp22,563.88 per annum.
