this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tandoori chef to who is really passionate to demonstrate their culinary skills and be heavily involved in the developing the menu. an enthusiastic chef with excellent attention to detail with at least 3-5 years of hands-on understanding and experience in authentic karahi and curry dishes and the use of a tandoor.
duties
preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
managing health and safety
managing food hygiene practices
managing and training
monitoring portion and waste control
maintaining a clean kitchen and food safety standards
creating menu items and developing dishes
requirements
right to work legally
level 2 hygiene certificate in catering
minimum 5 years relevant experience
awareness of manual handling techniques
experience of kitchen equipment
understandable level of english spoken and written
experience required
languages english – advanced
employment full-time
salary £30,000 – £32,000 yearly
