Telemarketing executive - united kingdom, chorley, lancashire

this company are looking for a talented telemarketing executive to join their expanding sales and marketing team. working from modern, open plan office; expect an exciting and varied role supporting new business development.

as the telemarketing executive, you will coordinate and contribute to business development activity. this includes researching, calling and building relationships with potential clients, as well as supporting the wider sales and marketing team as and when required.

you will ideally have an it msp background and be an enthusiastic b2b-focused individual who has experience in a relevant service-based environment, with appropriate knowledge of modern sales techniques and tactics.

strong communication skills are essential, along with good knowledge of ms office, and ideally experience working with crm systems. you will be highly organised and be able to develop new business leads.

the main requirements of role are:

- making outgoing customer calls or cold calls in order to sell products and services

- answering questions about product specifications and pricing

- upselling customers to larger products, more extensive packages, or higher priced services

- explaining product pricing and negotiates bulk or package pricing

- accurately and efficiently entering customer information into company databases for mailing and billing purposes

- maintaining a list of potential leads and follows up with those customers by making subsequent sales pitches

- assisting sales colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers

- contacting customers in response to correspondence or feedback

- may be required on occasion to assist with:

- monitoring order status to ensure that clients receive orders in a timely manner

- investigating unfilled, misplaced, or misdirected orders and resolves customer issues as necessary

in return, they offer a salary of £20,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) and potential to go up to £40k with ote, flexible benefits, life assurance, health care plan, company pension contributions along with training and development opportunities.
