job description
a well-established group of mental health residential homes, supporting both male and female service users in separate services, requires several full-time support workers to join their teams in various locations around streatham. the role will be based on a 40 hour week, with varying shifts (part time applicants will also be considered):
-early 8am-3pm
-late 2.30pm- 9pm
the home supports adults in their living environment, helping them with day-to-day activities, as well as rehabilitation back into the community. previous experience of working in a care environment, and mental health, would be advantageous. some of the roles (full job description to be provided) will include:
- supporting service users to maintain an independent, high-quality standard of living
- personal/domestic duties
-ensuring the safety of the home and service users at all times
- report writing, including key worker responsibilties
- supporting service users in the community and to appointments
- assisting the home maintain compliance with its legislative and regulative duties.
the successful candidate must have/be:
- a proven track record of being reliable
- hard working and able to work individually and as team
- willing to learn and improve in their role
