we are a small firm of chartered accountants based on henleaze road in bristol.

due to continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper / accountant to join the team. the role would suit someone who has an accounting qualification or someone who has worked in practice during their career and is qualified by experience.

the role will be based at our bristol office on henleaze road.

duties include:

the successful candidate must be comfortable preparing the following for small business clients:

limited company accounts from bookkeeping records.
corporation tax computations.
self assessment tax returns.
partnership accounts and tax returns.
payroll / cis duties.
sole trader accounts.

ideal candidate:

possess an accounting qualification (preferred but not essential).
have experience in a similar role.
comfortable using online cloud accounting software xero (the company are silver partners) as well as microsoft excel and word.
be able to work with minimal supervision.
be friendly, polite and work well as part of a team.
excellent telephone manner.
high standard of written and spoken english.
have excellent communication skills.
