i am looking for a personal support assistant in newton mearns, for my mum who has alzheimer’s. i am hoping to find someone who has a genuine interest in supporting us, and our lovely small handpicked team.
the ideal person will have relevant experience in care and support, will be highly reliable and trustworthy, and be able to work with initiative but also with instruction. an empathic person-centred approach is really important, offering respect for my mum’s individuality, independence, and privacy.
we need someone that can commit to weekend shifts and some shorter shifts during the week. flexibility is key, to cover shifts, holidays, and sick days of other colleagues in our team.
