Personal assistant/enabler for dog trainer with disability. 5 day live-in shifts. driver essential. - united kingdom, saffron walden, essex

the basis of this job is helping me to meet my day to day goals, so that i can live my life as i choose, despite my disability. i am not looking for a carer, i am looking for a facilitator, a person who assists me to meet my goals, and keeps my life ticking over.

my disability has been acquired within the last 10 years, and i need a pa to keep my life running whilst i continue my work.

i am a dog trainer and dogs (including puppies), are an essential part of my household - there are times when you will need to be totally responsible for them, though you will be trained in exactly what to do, so please consider this before applying.

this work includes everything involved in running a household, keeping a garden respectable etc. clean driver’s license essential, as driving me to events, camps, and workshops etc will be part of the duties.

i am looking for the qualities of reliability, trustworthiness and punctuality, with a sense of humour essential!

there is no need for previous experience - just to be able to follow my instructions, and to be able to work well on your own.

there are three staff members in my team, of which at any time one is working and one is on call. working shifts are normally 5 days in length.
