job on their feet all day, lift 30lbs, pick,pack and ship.

 

responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods, rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary. lifts heavy items and may operate any motorized vehicle equipment within the warehouse, to include, but not be limited to forklifts and cherry pickers. prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. may prepare kitting packages for assembly production. works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

may require mandatory overtime based on business need.

skills:

previous pharmacy experience is a plus

able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line.

able to consistently carry 20 – 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor.

must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.

basic math, reading and writing skills required.

 

education/experience:

• high school diploma or ged required.

• 0-2 years experience required.
