we are looking for a self employed housekeeper for a part-time role, working within a private family in walton-on-thames, surrey.

the housekeeper will be required to work on tuesdays, wednesdays and fridays, working from 9am - 3pm.

you will be working for a lovely british family, the principals live with their 14-year-old son who goes to boarding school, so he is only around on the weekends and during school holidays. the family have two labradors, the housekeeper must be pet friendly; but will not be expected to walk or care for the dogs.

the housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning the 5-bed property, and maintaining it to an excellent standard of cleanliness and organisation. duties also include; wardrobe management, laundry and ironing, ensuring the male principal’s suits and shirts are pressed, packing and travel preparation, regular deep cleaning, organising cupboards and storage areas, assisting with the preparation for dinner parties. no cooking is required in this role.

the family are looking for a housekeeper who has lots of initiative, and is able to work independently to a high standard. the ideal candidate will be professional with a positive work ethic, be committed and looking for a long-term position working for respectful employers.

the hourly rate is £17.50 - £18.50 per hour (doe). to be considered for this role you must be happy to be self employed and pay your own taxes.
