Pro gambler's executive and administrative assistant - united kingdom, dowanhill, glasgow

i am a professional gambler. at certain busy times i need an assistant to:

a) use various simple tools (provided) to calculate probabilities, et cetera

b) place bets on my behalf in physical bookmaker shops (using my money of course)

c) record information

d) once you are sufficiently trusted, place bets (using my money of course) online

e) liaise online with other professional gamblers with whom i collaborate

e) many other misc. tasks

you don't need any particular experience to do this, but you should be numerate, trustworthy and process lots of information quickly. having some knowledge of sports, especially soccer, will be helpful, but do not be put off applying if this is not the case for you.

initially you will need to be physically present so i can explain things, after a while you may be able to do some of your hours from home. the number of hours you work, and when you work them, will vary week to week, but as with any zero hours work you do of course have the right to refuse offers of hours. mostly i will need you for a few hours most days, so it will be best if you live in the west end or you'll be wasting too much time commuting.

it will be helpful if you have a car and a driver's license, as at certain times we/you will need to visit physical bookmaker shops further afield.

ps i'm aware a lot of people are surprised that one can make a living doing what i do and are likely suspicious of these sorts of advertisements, that's fine but please note you will be paid a fixed hourly rate - you are not getting a share of profits (or losses!) nor are you ever going to be asked to use your own money.

pay: £9-12 per hour

hours: flexible, but expect to be offered around 25 on average per week, with the possibility of that increasing with time. my busiest day is typically a saturday so expect this to also be the day you are most needed.
