hangman/metalman is a company based in north walsham with over 50 years providing drapes, sets and props for the world wide music industry. we are a small and vibrant company tuned specifically to the demands of building touring sets.
we are looking for people with skills for building in a variety of materials including wood, aluminium, steel and composites. the work demands an eye for detail and an ability and willingness to learn the ins and outs of how we do things.
we don’t expect you to have specific industry experience but do need you to have some knowledge and skills with tools as well as some it know-how. previous experience building for theatre, events and film would help but is not a requirement.
this job would suit someone who is looking for a long term creative career in the norfolk area with the understanding that there will be some work travel from time to time.
