our lovely client is looking to hire 2 gardeners to look after their garden and private land around the property (35 acres)
duties:
swimming pool and tennis court maintenance
maintenance of garden, lawns, borders, hedges, woodlands, lakes, footpaths and fencing
maintenance of the fruit and vegetable garden
maintenance of garden equipment and machinery
monitoring and ensuring plant health all year round
junior gardener role specific requirements:
rhs or nvq level 1 (or studying to gain rhs level 2)
horticulturally trained
ideally some prior gardening experience as part of a team
team player who is happy to report into the head gardener
tidy in your work with very high attention to detail
general maintenance skills
self-motivated and positive attitude
experience of physical work
ability to work with others and follow instructions from supervisors and managers
flexible
general requirements:
valid uk driving licence
eligibility to work in the uk
vaccinated candidates
excellent checkable reference
ideally holding a valid uk driving licence
minimum 1-2 year experience
assistant head gardener role specific requirements:
horticulturally trained
rhs level 2 + certificate is a must and 5 year experience
pesticide spraying license and a chainsaw certificate would also be hugely beneficial for this role.

salary offered: £35,000 + gross per year, doe and qualifications
