are you a confident person who likes to work with a team of likeminded people? macphie ltd are looking for a quality administrator to join the team at glenbervie.

we are looking for someone who has excellent organisational and communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

the role

below are some of the tasks required in this role (full job description is available upon request);

to maintain the companies document control system.
approve and issue document amends.
prepare documents in accordance to brc / customer standards.
assist in maintaining up to date raw material/packaging specifications and supplier questionnaires.
assist in the maintenance of technical information within the companies erp system, ensuring its accuracy.
to create and maintain the audit templates within the companies erp system.
to assist in the day-to-day functions of the qs department, prioritizing tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
to support the quality standards team in any other reasonable duties
at all times ensure that health & safety requirements are met in your area of responsibility in accordance with company health and safety policy, procedures, practices and legislation.
at all times ensure that all internal and external data protection requirements are strictly adhered to within your area of responsibility and that any breach, either direct or observed is reported in line with the employee breach notification procedure (1054046)

the person

the ideal candidate will have the ability to work well as an individual but also be very much a team player. the person we hire will be an excellent communicator at all levels. they will be someone who is able to prioritise a busy workload and react quickly to a changing situation.

this person must have a high level of computer literacy

the desirable candidate would have:

document control and administration experience
be confident and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
have excellent organisational and teamworking skills
previous food industry experience / internal auditing / food hygiene qualification would be an advantage but not necessarily essential.
