they have an opportunity for a marketing assistant to join their team. as part of the wider marketing team, you will assist in delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels to maximise revenue of magazines, books, products and events, as determined by the company's strategy.

this is a great opportunity for someone taking their first steps into a media role. you will be joining a dynamic and hard-working marketing team and have the opportunity to learn and test new skills to their wide-ranging and varied audiences.

key accountabilities:

- implementing omnichannel marketing campaigns: working with the marketing manager and audience development team to deliver email, social and display campaigns that will engage and delight their consumer audiences.

- growing revenue to the company shop: working with the head of marketing and head of e-commerce to drive sales with a strong roi for all products and services.

- creating marketing assets: briefing on-brand assets and writing compelling marketing copy that engages their audience segments across both print and digital.

- data acquisition/management: collecting and processing customer data, in order to further their marketing audiences.

- representing the company at both their own and third party events, where required throughout the year.

your skills, knowledge & experience:

- 5+ gcses grade a-c (or equivalent), including maths and english

- an understanding and flair for social media

- good it skills, including ms office

- ability to juggle tasks, to work under pressure and prioritise time effectively

- good communicator

- an eye for detail and design

this is a full-time role. a hybrid work pattern is available with at least 3 days per week in their office in the beautiful market town of stamford, lincolnshire. some weekend work will be required in order to attend events throughout the uk.
