estate cleaner* (driving role) - surrey

hours – 21 per week, to be worked weekdays between 8am and 4pm

contract - permanent

location – surrey

salary - £11.32 per hour (£12,361 per year for 21 hours)

van provided – yes

*official title ‘estate care operative’.

working as part of estate care team, you’ll be responsible for:

cleaning of the communal areas of our properties to make sure they’re maintained, sanitised and well-presented
combination of general cleaning, deep cleaning, litter picks and reporting any faults or defects (such as broken lighting, faulty fire doors etc) for repair
keeping our customers safe and happy

you’ll need:

experience in a similar role is preferred, though training will be provided
a full, manual, current (and preferably clean) driving licence
ability to work independently
knowledge of manual handling is desired
a positive, friendly attitude
flexibility to work across a number of locations

note for residents of southern housing group - we wouldn’t normally appoint our residents to roles which cover the estate or properties which they live in. we want to ensure our colleagues have a good work/life balance. please note that additional residential checks will be completed before an offer is made.
