britten pears arts is a pioneering music, arts and heritage charity based on the suffolk coast at two popular, historic visitor destinations: the red house and snape maltings. britten and pears shared a progressive vision for music and the arts to be useful. our founders' vision inspires all our activities: from work with our local communities to our national leadership roles in the fields of talent development and music for health & wellbeing.

britten pears arts' development team is responsible for raising over a third of the charity's annual revenue, so is fundamental to the continuation - and growth - of the inspiring activity delivered across the organisation.

the development officer will play a key role in the delivery of our fundraising strategy, supporting our work with individual and corporate supporters. the post will be responsible for delivering a high standard of care and service for our corporate partners and individual donors. this newly formed position will also support the delivery of our engaging programme of events. we are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships with a range of individuals, to manage their own portfolio of supporters and events, and to help drive forward our fundraising strategy.

this role is perfect for someone keen to develop their existing fundraising skills and experience in a positive and supportive team, or to someone new to the sector with transferrable skills and experience.
