we are currently seeking licensed social workers for an inpatient position in the saint johns, mi area. this is a full time salaried position with a wide array of benefits, all starting after 30 days!

requirements:
must have a current llmsw or lmsw. we would also be able to take a lpc, llpc, tllp or llp.
master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field, with appropriate professional license (llp, csw, or lpc) in the state of michigan, or rn degree.
handle with care certification.
job functions and responsibilities:
respond to requests for service received at hospital.
arrange a physician for inpatient and php admissions.
seek and obtain information regarding the financial eligibility of potential patients. consult with business office staff regarding same.
conducts safety search on all individuals presenting for assessment.
conducts the initial clinical assessment (includes prior treatment history, previous medication trials, family dynamics, etc.) for patients presenting for admission.
must have detailed understanding of medical and psychiatric criteria for various levels of care.
