adecco creative and marketing is looking for a 7+ month temp watch merchandising administrator in shelton, ct for a french luxury goods conglomerate that designs, manufactures, distributes, and sells jewelry, leather goods, and watches.

 

job function

the temp administrator, watch merchandising will be the main point of contact for the watch merchandising team (shelton) for all administrative activities. the role will help to ensure administrative needs are fulfilled to support the watch business.

 

key responsibilities

 

commercial network collaboration

  • responsible for responding to all networks spare part and leather strap questions as a key contact (product availability, special orders, deliveries, systems).
  • key point of contact for daily sales declarations auditing
  • responsible for creation of warranty card replacements, fulfillment through logistics and tracking of deliveries
  • actively tracks network back-order needs and facilitates delivery creation where assistance is required by merchandising coordinators
  •  

    stock management

  • partner with merchandising coordinators to execute assortment uploads; allocation and replenishment strategies. executes strategic allocation of reserves based on merchandising coordinator feedback.
  • actively monitors the aging orders for spare parts and leather straps, partners with manufacture on long delays and proactively partners with business partners on solutions.
  • secondary contact for stock availability. coordinate transfers ensuring process and quality control procedures are followed.
  •  

    order management

  • manage orders relating to strap and spare parts
  • manage order creation, delivery and tracking for various free of charge materials including visual merchandising elements, posm, catalogues, client experience gifting and sr ambassador incentives
  •  

    continuous process improvement

  • provides daily availability broadcast to specialist retail managers as related to watches.
  • provides shipment detail to the specialist retail managers for visibility on outbound deliveries
  • partners with local master data management teams for pricing and margin requests as needed

    qualifications

    · bachelor’s degree preferred.

    · 1-2 years of merchandising or related experience is required

    · excellent computer proficiency with ms-office (mainly excel)

    · sap system experience is a plus

    · experience in store planning or store operations is appreciated

    · knowledge of luxury is a strong plus
