Barber/hair dresser - united kingdom, widnes, cheshire
barber required for immediate start. candidate must be able to cut ladies hair in every length. no other hairdressing skills necessary. candidate will not be required to perform any chemical treaments, blowdry or styling technques for ladies.
candidate must have up to date knowledge of barbering and hold a minimum of level 2 barbering and hairdressing or city and guilds. barbering will be 80%+ requirement of this postition. no chemical treatments will be carried out by the candidate. you must be able to work on your own initiative. this position requires the full range of ability to cut any hair style and use mulitiple techniques. long to short, fades,of every length,head shaves, fins, mohawks and short back and sides to name a few. candidate must be able to use balding clippers, philly shavers, open razors, gillettes, rechargables and thinners. ability to perform razor hair cuts would be an advantage but not essential. you must be able to carry out full range of facial hair grooming.
7yrs+ experience is needed for this position. you must be a good team worker,work well with others and under pressure. you need to able to talk to customers on their level and make them feel at ease. the ability to work with disabled and small children is an advantage . if this is not in your skill range training will be provided.
wage depends on experience and skill set. £9.50 prhr will be starting wage.
16+hrs more hours will be available and you will be required to cover hols and sickness.
