adecco staffing is working with a national client in newport news, va in search of a warehouse storeroom attendant. this is a direct hire opportunity with a pay rate betweeen $16.00-17.00/hr doe.
schedule: schedule is based on customer needs. must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
overtime policy: overtime possible
job responsibilities:
vallen's fluids & lubricants technician works as part of an onsite team of 3 individuals tasked with machine maintenance and oil sampling. team works with customer to plan and perform regularly scheduled maintenance tasks.
• receive work orders and work with customer supervisor to determine machines to work on.
• greasing motors and chains
• inspecting oil and sampling oil and greasing
• changing out oils as needed
about customer:
independent family-owned company that operates out of 48 countries and 5 continents to distribute electrical products. their customers are in the industrial, construction, utility, and commercial markets.
basic (required) qualifications:
• high school diploma or equivalent; directly applicable experience may be substituted.
• mechanically inclined, with experience using hand tools for general equipment maintenance such as removing inspection covers, etc.
• must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• must have a valid driver’s license.
• will drive onsite work vehicle.
