the role – soft lampshade maker – gathered shades
you would be working within the soft (sewing) team pinning and sewing lampshades in gathered style for bespoke multiple orders.
lampshade specific training will be given of course – this is an opportunity to learn the gathered style of lampshade and to be part of the hotel/regular shade team. whilst this is less bespoke than other areas of the business it’s a foundation stage for potentially moving onto bespoke work later.
your skills and experience
- background in hand sewing
- experience working with fabrics, textiles or other materials
- used to working in a production environment
- outcome focussed and team player

full-time 6 month role (possible extension)– based on site in portslade
37.5 hours per week
