what is kingston tuition centre?
a tuition centre for ks2 students 9yr4 to yr6) 11+ (yr5) ks3 students (yr7 to 9) and students from year 10 to 11 who are preparing for gcses, we provide tuition for the following subjects : english language, literature maths science french
a friendly, family run after-school tutoring academy is looking for a part-time english tutor to join its expanding team.
the centre has been running for 13 years and helps students of all ages (7-18) to reach their potential. we have recently expanded our premises in new malden.
we specialise in 11+ examinations, therefore some knowledge of this exam system would be desirable, although some guidance and training will be offered.
we can offer 8-20 hours per week during term time (evening hours), and/or 20-30 hours in the school holidays.
candidates should have a good grasp of maths and some knowledge or experience of how maths is taught in primary and secondary school (up to gcse level). this role would suit a university maths undergraduate or graduate, or someone currently working in education.
candidates will be expected to complete an interview and a trial period.
the roles are ready to be filled immediately from june.
